L-theanine is an amino acid found naturally in green tea and mushrooms. It can cross the blood brain barrier and is thought to help promote feelings of well-being and reduced irritableness through its interactions with neurotransmitters. The patented Suntheanine® brand of L-theanine has been shown to promote relaxation while maintaining alertness, as indicated by increased alpha brain waves (relaxed and alert) and decreased beta brain waves (awake and excited). L-theanine has also been shown effective in helping dogs and cats deal with separation anxiety and environmental stressors.

Bioactive Colostrum Fraction

Calming and supporting

Bovine colostrum is comprised of many constituents such as carbohydrates, fats, proteins, growth factors and enzymes, however only some contribute to its calming benefits. Advanced CALM incorporates the specific fraction of colostrum that has been isolated for its anxiolytic properties. This bioactive fraction is comprised primarily of calming peptides that help ease anxiety and support calm behaviour.
